Andrea Barrie

Born in Brampton, Andrea’s family moved to Rockwood when she was 9 and then to Guelph during her last year of high school at GCVI.  She completed an Office Administration –Legal Program at Fanshawe College in 1991 and worked for a local law firm for 4 years before becoming a stay-at-home Mum to her 3 children.  She loves to cook and bake which led her to an amazing opportunity of becoming self-employed for 16 years catering luncheons for a local funeral home.  It was here that she discovered her soul purpose of serving people by creating a compassionate and kind customer service experience during one of the worst times of their lives.   Her family mantra became “Treat people the way you would want them to treat you and your family. Be kind and respectful of what they are going through, always.”  Her journey back into the working world after raising her children led her to Speed River Physio.  As Clinic Manager she is able to serve the patients, and therapists, on another level while at the same time putting her administration skills into practice.  In her spare time Andrea enjoys creative photography, hiking, kayaking and yes … baking!!
